I am available online for lessons in jazz improvisation for instrumentalists and singers, and also can specialize in jazz guitar technique along with improvisation. Some of my qualifications are: 

  • Began teaching music privately in New Jersey in 1975 at the studio "Musiclee Yours" in Maywood
  • Core approach to jazz guitar lessons came from private studies with Bob DeVos, and through in-depth studies of the major jazz guitarists
  • MA degree in music composition from Stony Brook University and BA in jazz studies and performance from William Paterson University
  • Studied jazz improvisation with master saxophonist Warne Marsh in New York in the 1980's and strive to incorporate this approach to teaching, self-published a book on these studies, "A Jazz Life"
  • Released three jazz CDs as a leader
