I am available for online lessons over Zoom, for all guitarists including beginners, and can specialize in jazz guitar technique and improvisation. Some of my qualifications are:
- Began teaching in New Jersey in 1975 at the studio "Musiclee Yours" in Maywood
- Core approach to jazz guitar lessons came from private studies with Bob DeVos, and through in-depth studies of the major jazz guitarists
- MA degree in music composition from Stony Brook University and BA in jazz studies and performance from William Paterson University
- Studied jazz improvisation with master saxophonist Warne Marsh in New York in the 1980's and strive to incorporate this approach to teaching, self-published a book on these studies, "A Jazz Life"
- Released three jazz CDs as a leader

All ages welcome, lessons are 40 minutes and include a personal summary video. First lesson is a mutual interview at no charge.
